Stuck in snow or on a curb

Most robot problems don’t need an engineer. They need a hand.

  • Stuck in snow or on a curb

Push it free and set it back on its route.

  • Snow or dirt on the sensors

Wipe the cameras and lidar so the robot can see again.

  • Tipped over or lost

Put it back on its wheels and where it belongs.

  • Mud in the wheels

Clear the wheels and brushes so it can drive.

  • Check on a robot and send photos to its owner
  • Stay with a robot until the technician arrives

  1. 1

    Join the waitlist

Tell us your city. We launch city by city.

  2. 2

    Get a task nearby

The app shows a robot that needs help, where it is and what to do.

  3. 3

    Help and confirm

Free it, clean it or check it, then confirm with a photo.

  4. 4

    Get paid

Payment goes to your account once the robot is back on track.

Rules that keep everyone safe

  • Touch a robot only when its owner asked for help through the app.
  • Follow the steps in the task. Never open the robot or touch its battery.
  • Smoke, a burning smell or a hot battery: step away and report it. A technician is sent.
  • Move a robot only back onto its route, never anywhere else.

Never a helper’s job. A hot or swollen battery, smoke, a burning smell or an opened body. That is always a technician. Helpers get only safe tasks.

Grow into a technician

Helpers who enjoy the work can train as robot technicians and take repair jobs.

Questions from helpers

Do I need any skills?

No. Tasks are simple: free a robot, wipe its sensors, put it back on its wheels, take photos. Each task comes with short instructions.

How much does it pay?

We will announce rates at launch. They will depend on the city and the task, and people on the waitlist hear first.

When does the app launch?

City by city, where both helpers and robot owners sign up. Your city in the form decides where we start.

Can I help any robot I see on the street?

Only robots with an open task in the app. Then the owner knows who is helping and why, and you get paid.

What if a robot looks broken or dangerous?

Do not touch it. Report it in the app and a technician will be sent.
